 Develop a Back Care Routine
(currently, in fall '21, the Monday evening 6pm class routinely covers this topic)

Good class for beginners as well

If you know you need to care better for your back but are not sure where to start and how to keep it going, this class will meet your needs.  Class plans take into consideration the need to move slowly and to develop the sensitivity to recognize what feels beneficial for your back and what may need to be avoided. Postures are chosen to address commonly weak and tight areas. This is NOT for those with acute back pain. Please be cleared by your physician if you are unsure whether it is safe for you to enter a yoga practice.

Most classes on the regular weekly schedule can work for many beginners. However, if you are looking for a class that covers some very basics and building blocks, this is the class. Includes: a dozen or so foundational postures,  adapting the  practice to your unique body, and time for Q & A.

Signature Saturdays

Each Saturday, we explore a theme. Some of the themes have been: soothing the nervous system, moving from the middle/core, and expansive energy flow. I blend lessons from previous weeks in, so the class is always evolving and also wrapping back around.
